EC Interpreters Carlos Hoyos (ES) and Jarek Król (PL), in a slightly paradoxical move, speak (in English) about the importance of speaking your native language in multilingual meetings, about the consequences and political implications of using a lingua franca instead of your mother tongue, and the hopes and frustrations that come with being a conference interpreter.
